Wodehouse is named as author on front cover, but not on title-page. Laid out in the form of a fourteen-page catechism of 28 points, followed by 'Notes and Illustrations from Various Writers'. Pertinent as ever, in its criticism of 'excessive inequality in the partition of wealth'. COPAC only lists three copies of the first edition of 1878. Of the eight copies of the second 1884 edition on COPAC, six are listed as being printed by 'F.

Extended title For Promoting the Education and Religious Instruction of the Native Irish through the medium of their own Language. Four pages ([1]-4), 8vo, formerly bound in a book, chipped at fold, mainly good. List of Patron, President and Vice-Presidents and discussion entitled Great Reformation Movement in Ireland, giving details of the state and progress of Protestantism.

On one side of a piece of paper 28 x 22 cm. Text clear and complete. Aged and creased, with two small areas of slight loss (not affecting text) and closed tears. Part of previous mount adhering to the reverse. Twenty-four lines beneath the title, with the whole enclosed within a border. Begins: 'It is proposed to establish, in the midst of the dense population of Bedminster and Redcliff, a nursery for children under three years of age.' Ends 'Rev. A. H.
