Paper, 18.5 x 12cms, corners chipped but text clear and complete. In Turton's hand [checked with Wellcome Library holdings of Turton's letters]. Variant from printed text in the Magazine. He omits a reference to Prince Leopold (under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Prince Leopold), colored becomes coloured and the printed version omits the final sentence (Such as wish to be in possession of selected copies will favor the author with their names, at his residence in Torquay Devonshire or at Mr Curtis's 12 Charles St. Cavendish Square.Notes: A.
