I send the parcel, which I hope will not greatly inconvenience you. | I expected to have had a parcel from [Mr?] Blackett [publisher] but I find myself unable to spare time enough [?] to accomplish it. [...] I will take another [?] early opportunity. | Let me conclude this hurried scrawl with [every?] cordial & friendly wishes - and a hope that you have quite forgiven my involuntary inattention to you on Thursday. I cannot cease regretting it.
