Parry, || 69, Vernham Road, | Plumstead, S.E.' Having received the references and agreement form, she informs her that her name 'has been added to our list of accepted Candidates with a view to filling a vacancy which will occur at our Preliminary Training School on June 1st 1912'. The letter gives information regarding arrival at the school premises ('Tredegar House, 99, Bow Road, E.'), the making up of Parry's uniform ('The four caps will be given to you on your arrival at Tredegar House; a charge of sixpence each will be made for the making up and washing.'), laundry ('Many probationers find it convenient to bring their own bath towels and dinner napkins; […] A Candidate is also permitted to bring her own eiderdown').
