16pp., 12mo. Stapled. In printed pink wraps, with map on inside back cover showing 'The Prisoner of War (Far East) Enquiry Centre' at Curzon St House in Mayfair. In fair condition, on lightly-aged paper in worn wraps with creasing to one corner. Divided into 14 sections: Government Responsibility; Imperial Prisoners of War Committee; The Protecting Power; The International Red Cross Committee; Voluntary Organisations; Notifications of Captures and Whereabouts of Prisoners; Pay (Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army and Royal Air Force); Allowances to Families; Pay and Allowances (Merchant Navy); Family Allowance (Local Volunteer Forces); United Kingdom Income Tax; Correspondence; Parcels; Enquiries. Loosely inserted in the pamphlet is a slip of paper, 16 x 10cm. and printed on one side, dated 'The War Office, | May, 1944.' It has a purple rectangular stamp: 'R.A.S.C. RECO | ORE PLACE | HASTINGS', dated 9 June 1944. Uncommon: COPAC lists four copies: at the British Library, the National Library of Scotland, Glasgow, and the Imperial War Museum.
