Lambert begins: 'Having been a long invested with the particular confidence of Mr. De Juigné Archbishop of Paris, I take the liberty of giving a succinct account of the persecutions and misfortunes which this worthy Prelate has experienced for his Religion, his King, & his conscience; & the dreadful distress to which he is now reduced. | I can with truth attest that Mr. J. archbishop of Paris in the Winter of 1788.
