The first page headed: 'INSPECTION EXERCISE | FOR THE BRIGADE OF | BUCKS YEOMEN CAVALRY.' , and with the slug '(Seeley, Printer, Buckingham.)' at the foot. The first page carries 23 lines of commands, from 'MARCH past by half Squadrons.' to 'Wheel on Centre of Squadron, by the Right.' The reverse carries 25 lines of commands, from 'ADVANCE, File from right of threes. Front form.' to 'General Salute. Close Ranks.' According to BBTI John Seeley was active as a Buckingham printer between 1795 and 1830. The unit was founded in 1794, and by 1803 there were three regiments, two of which were disbanded in 1827 (the Second Regiment only being kept in existence by being privately funded by the Duke of Buckingham). 1845 the title "Royal" was conferred on the Regiment, changing the brigade's name to The 2nd Royal Bucks Regiment of Yeomanry, with the name changing again in 1889, this time to the Royal Buckinghamshire Hussars Yeomanry; since then there have been various change to name and formation.
