[2] + 77pp., small 4to. A good tight copy, on lightly-aged paper, with foxing to pp.40-41. In original lightly-worn grey paper boards, with white printed labels on cover and spine. Autograph correction by Meyerstein on p.72. Meyerstein's autograph presentation poem is on the front free endpaper, and is dated by him, in decorative style, to 1949. The poem reads: 'On Mrs Scott Snell, | Whose son's pictures sell | (As she told this same writer), | This small book was pressed | At her formal request - | And may it delight her!' At the foot of the page are the remains of a label, on which the word 'Kelmscott' can be discerned, with 'MARGARET - SCOTT - SNELL.' written on it. The papers of Edward Scott-Snell [Edward Godwin] are now in Colgate University. Scarce.
