One page. On one side of a piece of watermarked, laid paper, 18 x 11.5 cm, with the reverse blank. On aged paper with slight loss to left-hand margin and slight stain beneath text at foot of page. Laid down on a leaf removed from an album. Nine rules, the first being 'That this Club shall be called the "Harrow Town Cricket Club."' and the second 'That this Club shall consist of an unlimited number of members, and shall be managed by a President, Secretary, and Treasurer, and a Committee of six members to be elected at the Annual General Meeting to be held at the Young Men's Society Room on the first Tuesday in March.' A scarce piece of cricketing ephemera. The club only went under this name for five years: from its foundation in 1888 to 1893, when the 'Town' was dropped.
