Three pages, 12mo, bifolium, fold marks, good condition. Text: Dear Lady Theresa | I have to thank you for the amiable note you did me the honor to write. I am indeed truly delighted to think that my paper has pleased you & yours, and am very glad to have been the means of thee Q[uarterly] Review[s?] making an amende honorable. | Some day, when we meet, I will reveal to you, a curious secret of the prison [house?] in this affair. | I have also reaad with much interest the articles in the Ed RW & the Times: it never rains but it pours, & I trust 'after this deluge' the public will flock in to buy. | Tory as I am, I assure you that I was very sorry to see that Herefordshire has done its best to swell a [?] parliament.
