These fragments of vases [catalogued on BM website] of the same material found in the higher part of the pass Col Colon given by John Digby. | The latter may well have been part of a load of such objects being carried across the pass in question & broken en route. | The age of these objects is very [?]. They may be even Roman. They are also noticed in Proceedings of the Society of Antiquaries 2d. Series vol. VI.439."
