Martin Luther King's interview with John Freeman was broadcast on 29 October 1961 in the BBC series 'Face to Face'. The present typescript of the interview is from the papers of the programme's producer Hugh Burnett, and is edited for publication as the section on 'The Rev LUTHER KING' in the book 'Face to Face | Edited and introduced by Hugh Burnett' (London: Jonathan Cape, 1964). 2pp., foolscap 8vo. On two leaves stapled together. Corresponding to the text as published on p.79 of the book. Marked up with instructions to the typesetter in pencil and red and green ink (for example 'Galley 13 Text. 10 pt Baskerville'. In fair condition, lightly aged and worn.
