He expresses the grief of his wife and himself at Joy's loss, and continues: 'I seem to have known your two girls ever since Molly was quite a chidl and we heard so much of them from her that we seemed to know them better nd be more interested in them than in other girls that we saw far more often.' He continues with a comment on how the loss must be affecting the surviving sister Mary.
