The collection of 37 items (35 publicity items and two cables) is in good condition, in a blue card folder. The following description is divided into seven parts. ONE: 22 issues of the 'Philatelic Release' of the 'information Service | Post Office Department', dating from between 22 October 1965 and 11 June 1966. Totalling 51pp., 8vo. An incomplete run. Giving information relating to the new releases of stamps, including 'the John F. Kennedy 11-cent aerogramme', 'Frank Lloyd Wright postage stamp', 'Johnny Appleseed commemorative', 'Great River Road commemorative', 1966 Christmas stamp, '5-cent SIPEX souvenir sheet' , and 'Humane Treatment of Animals commemative' (featuring 'Babe', a 'half-Labrador retriever', who is to be a guest at a dinner at the Waldorf-Astoria). TWO:Four notices to 'Post on Bulletin Board', each 8vo, from 1965 and 1966, variously printed on yellow, green, grey and mustard. For the following releases: '5-cent Great River Road', '5-cent SIPEX Souvenir Sheet', '2-cent Frank Lloyd Wright regular postage stamp' and '11-cent International Telecommunication Union Commemorative Postage Stamp'. FIVE: Duplicated typed document (2pp., 8vo) headed 'Background of USS Paul Revere ("Auxiliary, Personnel, Attack" #243) "The World's Most Modern Attack Transport"' SIX: Duplicated typed document (2pp., 8vo) annotated in manuscript 'P.O. release Oct. 22 1965'. SEVEN: Two print outs in cable format. The first (in three parts) regarding a printing error to 'some of the Dag Hammerskjold commemorative stamps. The second (in two parts) relating to an error in a sheet of stamps commemorating the opening of a Panama Canal Bridge.
